Accuracy issues with this meter!
test 1 = initial, test 2 = test again within 30 seconds

test 1 = 97, repeat test within 30 sec = 87 mg/dl
test 1 = 106, repeat test within 30 sec (same blood sample)= 97 mg/dl

The onetouch UltraMini glucose meter is a compact reliable glucose meter that has become my blood glucose tester for work and one day trips. At home or on longer trips I go with my UltraSmart meter. They both use the Ultra Blue test strips so trading off the strips has been fairly easy. I have the black UltraMini as all the colors are not my thing, but for the ladies I did see those and they are nice looking. I have been very satisfied with the accuracy of my meter and it has good averaging features for such a little meter.

I love my little onetouch UltraMini glucose meter, it is cute and reliable. I get to test with one of the coolest glucose meters, this at least makes my testing experience a little more enjoyable considering I am taking a blood sample! lol, to be honest it could be worse and at least there are glucose meters and blood sugar management tools available to us. Before getting sick, I hated when those suffering tried to bring me down, even when I was considerate to their challenges. So I do my best every day to not be that grumpy sick person who brings everyone down. That is why I lavish myself with fun testing supplies and live my life with the glass half-full. These really are ultra cool glucose meters! I have the onetouch UltraMini glucose meter in every color, yes I am a weirdo lol. I started with a green UltraMini, then I had to have the pink UltraMini. From there it was all down hill, I finally ordered a black one as the last in the color wheel as I had to have them all since I went this far. When it comes to testing, I did by this many because I believe I don't need anything better than this. Cross my fingers that they never stop selling blood glucose test strips for these little guys. I might be the first to display an item that was designed to be discrete, but I enjoy life and if you bring me diabetes, I will find the good in it. Life is short for all of us and you have to find happiness or your life is going to be short and painful. Whats next? Maybe I will start with the rest of the onetouch glucose meters. I do like the Ultra2 and the UltraSmart meters. Have a great day everyone!

I find the onetouch UltraMini glucose meter to be a fancy little travel meter for when you have little room or just a pocket to carry around your blood glucose testing supplies. Still a very accurate and fast glucose meter that holds 500 tests in memory. Relative to the size of the onetouch UltraMini glucose meter, the screen is large as well. I prefer my Ultra2 for every day at home or work testing, then take the UltraMini with me when I jog or go to friends houses for family gatherings.
